COMMAND C* is a spring/summer collection that uses digital printing and construction detailing to directly reference fast fashion garments created within the wider industry. A virtual aesthetic is accentuated by laying a digital duplicate on top of the garments. This is perhaps most relevant in a world where digital technology is increasingly blurring what is considered ‘real’.
 
The idea of authenticity and the discouragement of design appropriation presented by the fashion industry media suggest there is a hierarchy between that of the original design and its reproduced copy. 3D rendered garments sourced online were manipulated to present and construct high end fashion products. With an emphasis made on collaborative processes to question the role of the original and authentic fashion design and designer.
