!nception is a prototype audio interface purposed towards bringing the audiophilic sound of a high quality recording studio into a home recording environment.
This interface has two input channels and as such, two identical pre-amps, designed from the ground up. The sound of the pre-amps can be attributed to the discrete design and their transformers.
Inspired by the pre-amps embedded in classic analogue consoles such as those of NEVE or API, !nception also includes other features which are present in these desks. !nception manifests in the form of technology, and caters for the rising number of bedroom producers paying tribute to the highly sought after, vintage sound of the 70s and 80s.
