Information
My work addresses core beliefs, our inner messages about ourselves and the world. My paintings act as a medium to bring forth these invisible messages, to accept them, and then to change them. I aim to express a range of emotions throughout my body of work, which I do by considering my movement while working on a painting, and how this contributes to brush work and paint application. My aim is to make art this is confrontational of my deepest fears, and perhaps the viewer’s; but at the same time, I prefer to be ambiguous with meaning, and thus remain inaccessible.
