My inspiration came from witnessing and experiencing how many riders suffer from concussion. This led to consider how little mountain bike helmets have evolved in safety innovation, in comparison to other products within the mountain biking industry. I talked to concussion experts, and constructed user workshops to get deeper understanding concussion, and what the users needs and wants are in relation to Mountain bike helmets. Whats on display is the physical model Cortec and a short animation of how the helmet works in context.
