Information
My work employs, image, writing and voice to weave openness and constraint and generate flows of thought and feeling. The aim is to slow, sink into perception, and there find the possibility of new stories to tell the world. Stories that both listen and speak. Stories and modes of telling those stories that address our current moment and explore the trouble we are in.
My model is writer Ursula Le Guin’s carrier bag, which, against the mythic model of the central hero, who hunts and vanquishes his world, is a stranger, more diverse, more distributed view of what makes up reality. One in which there are always more stories to be told, always more ways of coming and going, always more that may be placed in the carrier bag.
