The book Denimology is a photographic exploration of the lifecycle of denim. The lens is used to explore three specific stages of denim- the creation process, the garments life, and the new life it is given once the garment is no longer being worn. In most cases, the creation of denim leaves an immensely negative impact on the environment. Denimology brings awareness to its audience on why it is important not to be greedy with denim, and to teach the importance of owning a pair of jeans that you truly love. Denimology uses the lens to explore the connection people have with their denim, and how the stories denim holds makes it like a second skin.
