Early fatherhood can be a challenging time for new dads, the sudden change of lifestyle can have a dramatic impact on a dads wellbeing. While everyone focuses their attention on the mum, dads are often left out of the conversation. So how can design help new millennial dads to navigate through the challenges on their journey of being a new parent?

With a user-centered focus, pāpā is a service that aims to equip new millennial dads with tools and support networks during the challenging time of early fatherhood. The main touchpoint is a digital service which focuses on connecting dads to like-minded others and providing assistance and support during their moments of need. The service equips new dads with a parenting pal who can provide 24/7 assistance and also a pāpā kit,  a goodie box that is full of emergency treats and activities to help dads to strengthen their bond with their baby.
